If your venture touches lives, you're ahead of the game
The world doesn't need another quick fix. It needs transformation, love, connection, healing, efficiency, transparency, and true value creation. It needs founders with systems-level vision and action that's thoughtful, precise, and effective. It needs selfless and qualified leaders who are thinking beyond their little egos and wallets (aka every single female founder I work with.)
I speak with some of the most capable individuals in the world right now who are qualified from 15+ years of experience in their industries to solve some of humanity's toughest challenges, utilizing technology to create systems change in healthcare, education, food, media, community, future of work, social media... what have you.
No one gets them at the early stages. They doubt themselves. They go through personal struggles for the first five years. They don't see their stories reflected anywhere in our media-saturated world of quick millions. But they persist.
If you are one of those founders, remember that the second you decide that your vision is enough to raise 500k to a million in initial capital - and that you only need two or three people to invest in you and "see" you in order to get going - your world will change.
