Power your Purpose for Social Impact at General Assembly San Francisco was a great success!

So much so, that one of our attendees wrote a beautiful blog post about it.

Since I moved to the Bay Area, I have been attending as many events as I can, learning so much and meeting many interesting people. One of the topics that I am very interested in is Women Empowerment. Last Tuesday I participated in an interactive session presented by The Female Founders Lab founder Nilima Achwal in SFO General Assembly. This topic caught my attention because, in my humble opinion, every company must have a social impact. In other words, I truly believe the final KPIs of a company shouldn’t be related to profitability. Sure, we need money to scale the business (an impact positively many people as we can), but that is not the reason you should create a business. You should do it to solve real problems, that improve people’s lives (and other lives too 🐮🐔🐷).

Nilima’s session was about helping you to think about your vision and discuss possibilities for making this happening in 2020. I want to share my learnings with you and, maybe, inspire you to start thinking about this cool idea you might have on your mind that could make this world a better place for everyone. Those are my notes:
